Cromwell Masterplan

The Cromwell ‘Eye to the Future’ Masterplan guides the development of land, infrastructure and buildings, in alignment with Cromwell community values. Key focuses are Cromwell’s spatial plan, the development of the town centre and Cromwell Memorial Hall.

The Masterplan’s Stage 1, which was adopted by the Cromwell Community Board in May 2019, is centered around the Spatial Plan. The plan outlines a coordinated approach to managing growth in Cromwell over the next 30 years, aiming to balance infrastructure needs, community amenities, and environmental considerations.

The plan reflects the community's preferred option of growth focused within Cromwell and includes residential zones at a number of densities, increased housing options and amenities through more focused development within the walkable distance from the town centre. It also includes design guidelines for subdivisions, supports greenway preservation and development, and increased industrial opportunities.

The next stages of the Masterplan are the Town Centre Precinct and the Cromwell Memorial Hall.
