Roxburgh Town Hall and Entertainment Centre

Roxburgh Town Hall is located on Scotland Street and is the centre of entertainment for Roxburgh and the Teviot Valley. The substantial facility comprises an auditorium, movie screen and projection room, dressing rooms, stage, storage areas, toilets, ticket and shop kiosk in the foyer. Located to the rear of the building is a dance hall, a supper room with kitchen, and toilets.

The facility is used for movie screenings, musicals and other social functions. The maximum number of people that can be accommodated in the hall and theatre (combined) is 210 people.

The Roxburgh Entertainment Centre Improvement Committee (RECIC) operates the movies in the town. To find out what's screening contact the movie line on (03) 446 8744.

Roxburgh Service Centre Chambers (Meeting Room)

Located within the Roxburgh Service Centre building, this room can be booked for meetings during the day and evenings. There is a large, fixed boardroom table that can comfortably seat 12 with an additional 16 seats around the edge of the room. Tea and coffee making facilities are available as well as a large TV screen with HDMI.

Roxburgh Memorial Hall

Located on Scotland Street, the main thoroughfare of Roxburgh, the Memorial Hall lies within the building that also houses Council's Roxburgh Service Centre.

The modern hall caters for about 60 to 80 people and has a good size kitchen with servery.

The meeting room/chambers within the building are also available for hire.

Lake Roxburgh Village Hall

If buildings could talk this building would have many stories to tell from when it was first constructed in the late 1940s as part of the nationally significant Lake Roxburgh hydro scheme. Located in Tamblyn Drive, Lake Roxburgh Village Hall has a foyer, meeting room, kitchen and toilet facilities and is available for hire.

The hall is managed by the Lake Roxburgh Hall Committee. Bookings and enquiries should be made directly to the committee.

Ettrick Hall

Ettrick Hall can be found in the rich fruit growing area of Ettrick in the Teviot Valley. Available for hire, the small rural hall features a main hall with a stage and caters for about 120 people. It also features a supper room and kitchen, and toilet facilities. Wheelchair access is available.

The hall is managed by the Ettrick Hall Committee. Bookings and enquiries should be made directly to the committee.

Millers Flat Hall

Built in the late 1800s, this historic Central Otago building comprises a main hall with stage and foyer. In 1984 the current toilets and shower block, along with the supper room and kitchen, were constructed replacing earlier structures.

The Millers Flat Hall is credited with one of the first timber sprung floors in the South Island and is used for dance, badminton and other indoor activities. The modern carpeted supper room can be divided in two through the use of concertina doors.

The hall is available for hire for a range of uses, including events, functions and meetings. The hall is managed by the Millers Flat Hall Committee. Booking and enquiries should be made directly to the Committee.
