Mayors Taskforce for Jobs - helping young people

The Council is involved in a new initiative to help young people aged 16-24 into sustainable work and provide support for their would-be employers.

The programme is a partnership between Central Otago District Council, Local Government NZ and the Ministry of Social Development.
