Fees and Charges

The following attachment detail all Council's fees and charges for the 2024-25 financial year.

While Council has aimed to provide an exhaustive and accurate schedule of charges, if any errors or omissions are identified, charges will be calculated by reference to the appropriate underlying authority/resolution. Council reserves the right to vary and introduce fees and charges at its discretion.

All fees and charges referred to are inclusive of goods and services tax (GST) at 15%. All fees and charges are in NZD currency.

Fees & Charges Changes at our Transfer Stations

As of Monday 10 October 2022 there will be a disposal charge for fridges, freezers and air-conditioning units at all transfer stations. These appliances contain hydrofluorocarbons and other refrigerant gases which are highly dangerous to people and the environment. These gases must be dealt with by a professional, so these costs have been passed on.

Also, from Monday 10 October tractor tyres will be accepted at our transfer stations. Tyre disposal charges will changed to a per tyre type rate rather than by weight.
