Maniototo Community Board members sworn in

A new month and a new local government triennium… the Maniototo Community Board saw the return of four familiar faces at the inaugural meeting at Ranfurly, with a new member Rebecca McAuley also signing a declaration of office yesterday (Tuesday 1 November).

The Ranfurly businesswoman and mother took the fifth seat on the community board once occupied by long-term member Sue Umbers.

Robert Hazlett was reappointed chair and Mark Harris deputy chair, with Duncan Helm and Central Otago District Councillor Stu Duncan also returning.

The members were in high spirits and looking forward to the challenges ahead for their tight-knit community.
