ROXBURGH RIVER TRACKUPGRADE – update Friday 14 June 2024
A
long-awaited upgrade of the Roxburgh River Track will begin next week weather
permitting.
The
work involves
widening the existing track to 2.2 metres, putting in a new gravel surface,
tree trimming and culvert installation.
This
will be overseen by the Teviot Valley Walkways Committee, and
carried out by
Lake
Roxburgh Contracting Ltd.
The track will be closed for up to two weeks while this
work is undertaken. The affected areas are shown on the map (further below).
