University of Otago Masters of Planning Students’ Reports
During 2023, the University of Otago approached the Central Otago District Council for ideas for their Masters of Planning students to undertake a number of research projects. Council responded by providing briefs of the following topics:
- Seasonal Workers Accommodation
- Rural Subdivision
- The proposed airport at Tarras
- The Lake Onslow battery project
- Grid-scale solar developments
The final reports from the students are available below. The executive summaries include the scope of each report and also an acknowledgement to each of the communities that were involved in the research.
