Tree removal by LINZ near Dunorling Street boat ramp, Alexandra

Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) will be removing some trees on their land, upstream from the Dunorling Street boat ramp in Alexandra.
Some trees are unsafe on this stretch of Clutha River / Mata-Au, so LINZ plans to remove them.
Work will start on Monday 16 December and is expected to take two days to complete, weather dependant.
LINZ asks us all to please avoid the area while this work is happening. This work will not impact access to the boat ramp or barbecue area.
LINZ is likely to be removing some trees on the Rivers Street/Manuherekia River side as well in the week of 16 December.
