The purpose of the Reserve Management Plans, which are required under the Reserves Act 1977, is to provide for and ensure the use, enjoyment, maintenance, protection and preservation of the recreational spaces, as well as appropriate development of the reserve areas.
We are currently working through the process of developing and implementing these plans for our district's parks and reserves. They will be reviewed on a regular basis, and involve public participation in the process, to ensure these public spaces evolve with the changing times and needs of our community.
