Ranfurly Cemetery
Ranfurly's history owes much to the railway coming to town in the early 1900s. With the development of the main rail head at Ranfurly came the development of its cemetery, which is located on Tyrone Street.
Today Ranfurly Cemetery is Maniototo's largest and main public cemetery with a mix of older elaborate gravestone as well as more modern examples.
Ranfurly Cemetery is administered by Council and is a dry land cemetery. Interments at the cemetery are undertaken by a private contractor whose details are available from the Ranfurly Service Centre.
Records are also held at the Ranfurly Service Centre.
