Making a Complaint about a Food Business
If you have a complaint about a food business relating to:
- cleanliness
- food display or storage
- food safety practices
- foreign object found in food
- registration of a food business
We do not handle complaints about the quality of service, the presentation or taste of the food. You need to speak to the business operator directly.
Please contact Council on 03 440 0056 and lodge a service request or email food@codc.govt.nz and provide as much information as possible, along with your name and contact details.
