Alexandra Library Refurbishment

We are excited to announce that the Alexandra Library will officially reopen at its Tarbert Street location on Monday 2 December 2024.

Since mid-June 2024, the library has been temporarily located at the Central Stories Museum and Art Gallery on Centennial Avenue while undergoing an extensive refurbishment. We are thrilled to welcome you back to the newly upgraded Tarbert Street site, ahead of schedule, just in time for the festive season!

This refurbishment project has been 15 years in the making and nearly six months in creation. We can’t wait to unveil the fresh, modern space that has been created with our community in mind.
