Subdividing
your land? Before you begin the process, please take a look at the CODC’s
standards that must be met for works and infrastructure constructed within a
new development.

Engineering Acceptance
Engineering Acceptance must be completed prior to any physical works commencing on site as outlined in the resource consent conditions and prior to application for s223 and s224(c).
Before you apply:
- Please combine all of the attachments into a single PDF document labeled “RCXXXXXX(consent number) Engineering Acceptance Application Year/Month/Date
- Include a cover letter identifying the resource consent conditions for which an engineering review is requested and detailing how these conditions have been satisfied.
- Provide confirmation that all elements have been designed in accordance with CODC’s Land Development and Subdivision Code of Practice.
- For any elements that do not comply with CODC’s Code of Practice or are considered an alternative solution, list these separately with a brief description of each and an explanation of why it is considered appropriate.
